The local people of Buxton have been digging deep- literally - to help make Buxton a brighter place to live.

With the judges about to come to town, Jane Mcgrother has been organising volunteers around the town to finish off tidying gardens and weeding flower beds. The latest endeavour has been taking place at the Milnthorpe old persons homes on Macclesfield road.

Planting work done by the Friends of Pavilion Gardens in the last few months are beginning to blossom with buds and flowers adding to the beauty of the park.
