Winners of Buxton in Bloom 2008 received their awards during a special presentation evening at No 6 The Square.

Trevor Hall took first prize for the Best Home Front with his beautifully-designed garden, while Darrell Edge's blooming floral displays were the judge's favourite in the Best Hanging Basket category.With a mixture of shrubs, trees and bedding plants, Trevor has also tried his hand at a touch of topiary in his front garden at The Glade, off Park Road.Runner-up in the Best Home Front category was the Anderson family, of Ecclesbourne Drive.

The title of Best Kept Street went to Dovedale Crescent, while the awards for Best Business Front and Best Pub Front went to the Roseleigh Hotel and The Old Club House respectively.
